About the Designer
Clothes won't change the world, however the women who wear them can.
That is why Andréa designs for the strong, independent women, who needs her clothes to be as extraordinary as she is. With fine attention to detail, and a creative flare, Andréa designs for the everyday woman, as well as the one who desires to stand out in a crowd.
Andréa learned at a young age that clothes can make a woman confident and comfortable. However fashion can be an artistic expression for the world to see. Her barbie dolls served as her models, and her sketchbook as her diary until she could turn her dreams into reality.
Her first high school internship at Sew Special dress shop in Wilbraham MA, gave her a quick realization that she had much to learn. She attended Lasell University in Newton MA where she received her Bachelor's Degree of Art in Fashion Design and Production. During this time, she had many experiences that shaped her into the designer she is today.
Sophomore year Andréa studied abroad, attending University of the Arts London. Immersing herself into the eccentric culture, allowed her to play with shapes, colors, and silhouettes in her own designs.
Once she returned home, she continued to push her own designs, while also gaining experience in the industry. Andréa began her internship with NIC+ZOE in Natick MA where she quickly fell in love with knitwear design. During her time with the company, she learned the lifecycle of a garment from concept, to production. She was quickly promoted to Knitwear Designer, with a focus in novelty knitwear.
Today, Andréa continues to allow art, architecture, shapes, and color to inspire her designs. So join her journey, and help women change the world, one garment at a time!
